Module-Based NSS Orientation Course with
an E-Learning Platform

Amidst the pandemic, a pioneering initiative was launched to develop a module-based National Service Scheme (NSS) orientation course with an e-learning platform with the approval of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, and the Directorate of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala. The project received technical support from Jerry Johnson, MCA.

The virtual launch ceremony, held on March 8, 2021, and inaugurated by Smt. V. Vigneswary, IAS, Honorable Director of Collegiate Education, Kerala, marked a significant milestone. The initiative, designed as a mobile app for Massive Open Online Learning, aligns closely with the 2006 NSS Manual and incorporates expert insights from Sri. I V Soman and Dr. Sunny N M, Training Coordinators of NSS Empanelled Training Institutes (ETIs) in Kerala and Lakshadweep, NSS ETI at Rajagiri School of Social Science, Kalamasseri, and NSS ETI at the University of Calicut, respectively.

The project received the Chief Minister's e-Governance Award for 2021 in the category of e-learning solutions in recognition of its transformative impact on digital education.
